Re; Your previous post. Yes Hot Sam was in the middle of the mall somewhere and I wan't to say that The Int Cafe was near the Schreoder's

Here's another picture of the Mall around the time it opened. This was around 1974 or so, looking just southwest of the mall. Note the perimeter of the mall (Metro Parkway) - Not much around it, the white round building is still there, and it's a soup and salad place now.

That was all farms back then, now it's hotels, office buildings and a lot of restaurants.
I've seen this one before as well as a couple of variations of the postcard

There were taken on a gorgeous afternoon in November of '84 on that little hill at Cave Creek & Behrend which is just a little way north of Union Hills. In the 1st pic that's my beloved Pinto down on the lower right parked in what is now probably someone's living room!
