Just wanted to inform everyone in this part of the C-D forum that I landed a solid job in Long Beach, CA area and will be relocating in the next 10 days.

But this is definitely not a farewell by any means, as I will frequent this section and continue to annoy the regulars as usual.

You are not getting rid of me that easily!

...or may be you will?

Good luck, at least housing costs in SoCal have plummeted as well

I can safely say congrats and you will be missed in the Phoenix area, and welcome to California. Living in both places has its advanteges. Well at least this one advantage.

Thank you all for your kind words and support!

It really was all about the job as Long Beach/LA is not my cup of tea to be perfectly honest. Still, I am no stranger to So Cal since prior to moving to Phoenix, I lived 15+ years in Orange County. I will definitely be enjoying riding my bike around till the Big One hits the West Coast or till a big idiot on the road hits me.... .

I definitely will miss you all....well, at least some of you but I sure as heck will not miss walking around with a swamp.ss during the Summers!

@Yaz: 'Fish Taco' is the brand of cologne I usually wear during the really hot season....is that the kind of bad joke you were talking about?

Love, peace and chicken grease!

So, your AZ stint is over, Loco. Congratulations on your job!

You just dragged your sister here and now you're leaving her... Some brother!

Wow, some kind words made it out of your mouth on the way out! That's probably because you're afraid we'll slam the door on ya... Besides, it's not a good idea to burn bridges... Knowing you... you may very well be back soon enough!

I thought you didn't really want to live in CA... On the bright side, now you can pick a cheaper house!

Bon voyage, chicken (+ grease)!
