Any recommendations for clubs/facilities with regular spinning classes in the southern half of the Phoenix metro area? I know about the athletic club at the Pointe, but looking for other alternatives to check out. Looking for well-maintained (and newer) equipment, etc.

Thanks!

Is downtown South enough for you? There is a great place called Just Breath that is near Roosevelt and is a pretty neat facility.

These probably won't help at all since they're not in the southern half, but I've heard great things about Studio 360 (36th St/Indian School) and Foothills Revolution (7th St/Glendale).

Thanks for the recommendation. Ahwatukee/Tempe/Chandler area would be a little more convenient, but we'll check it out.

LA Fitness has spinning classes. There is an LA Fitness at 48th and Chandler blvd in the Ahwatukee area. There is one at 56th and Elliot across from Costco. Also one in Tempe I think on Southern.

LA Fitness: Where Fitness is a Way of Life just search for the zip code and it will find closest ones to your zip code. You can click on the links to find the cardio schedules, which include spinning. They call it indoor cycling I think.

Years ago I used to do the spin class at the old Scottsdale LA Fitness. The instructor, Garry, was an older guy but he had a lot of energy and great music. You can tell how good the instructor is by how full the class is, and his classes were full.

Athletic Club at the point? Are you taking about the tiny gym at the Squaw Peak?

When I worked at the sister property, we had a deal where we could go workout at Squaw Peak for $10/month, but the gym is very limited.
