I took my 3 year old there this past Saturday and he had a blast. It's not very big, they have about 6 or 7 rides but he enjoyed it anyways. We got there at around 10am and there was hardly anyone there, about 5 other kids, I don't know how crowded it gets in the evenings. Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to ride the pedal boats.

If your looking for something to do with your little one: Enchanted Island at Encanto Park

I absolutely love Encanto Park. It is one of the best urban parks in the country. The age of the park gives it one advantage, especially in Phoenix. Enchanted Island is busy in the evening and extremely busy fall, winter and spring. It is a catch-22 that not many people outside of central Phoenix know about the park. I've taken visitors to Encanto and they liken it to other great urban parks throughout the country including Central Park.

Have you eaten at Mulligan's Restaurant that's located right next to the park? We were going to go there for lunch but the parking lot said it was golf parking only and the building had a sign that said "Pro Shop" I believe. Seems like it's intended for golfers only.

I haven't...but I'm sure you can park in one of the park's lots or on the street and walk to the restaurant. It is a city of Phoenix public golf course so I'm sure there is no membership requirements and I'm sure the restaurant will welcome anyone.
