Hi Dianne, this post is dated but if you are still around this forum I'd love to see some more family photos of Don. Sadly there is the one single Republic photo that floats around but it's great to see the family side of your father.

when i lived in an apartment complex in 1976-1977 in tempe, there was a car bombing in the apartment complex parking lot. nearly knocked me out of bed. Parts of the car flew over the 2 story complex and landed in the swimming pool. I never learned what came of that. However, I heard rumors that it was a mob killing and that the guy who was blown to bits was under witness protection. Since I was one of the first people at the scene, I was interviewed by the local media and the police. Six years later, I left the area and never did learn if that was ever solved.

I've seen this guy featured on America's Most Wanted many times. Killed an armored guard in Phoenix. On the FBI top 10 list.

The Redmond Murders on New Years Eve, I belive in the late 70s. Joyce Lukezic has a book out about that. She was convicted and later released.
