We are interested in the Seville neighborhood. I've looked at some houses on line and it the school district is the Chandler Unified District. Confused because Seville is in Gilbert. If anyone can explain this to me I'd appreciate it. Also, do all Chandler schools go all year round? I noticed that the kids in that district are starting back at the end of July. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Seville Golf & Country Club is within the Chandler School District. Here is a link for their current school boundaries Chandler Unified School District :: Boundaries (http://ww2.chandler.k12.az.us/boundaries.html - broken link). Here is the link for their current school calendar http://ww2.chandler.k12.az.us/calendar_2007-2008.pdf (broken link)

Yes, Seville is in Gilbert, but the school (Riggs Elementary) is within the CUSD. Not sure how/why CUSD included Riggs in their district. When Shea first proposed building Seville, they donated the 15 acre area to CUSD to be used for a school. The school was just completed this summer and it's their first year open. They have started school already.

Any of you know whether tha clubhouse and pools at Seville are included with your HOA, and how much the dues are? How about the golf membership? I looked at Seville and forgot to ask the people at the Shea sales office when I looked at the models. LOL.
Thanks

No, the club is not included with the HOA. I believe the country club initiation fee is around $600 and monthly fee is about $100 (not exactly sure about thoses prices). The golf club membership is a lot more but I can't remember exactly what I heard - I think it was around 15K initiation, but I could be wrong. You still have to pay monthly fees on top of that.

Yikes. Thanks for the reply. I kind of assumed the golf was extra, but thought usually any pools/fitness/etc would be part of the HOA. Well, that is good to know.

You can also check out Arizona Private Golf Country Club - Gilbert, Arizona - Seville Golf & Country Club for more information on the golf and recreational facilities. I believe there is contact information as well so you can email or call for details.
