Ok, there's Kincaids, Cooperstown, Majeries, Jackson's on Third, and the Hard Rock that come to mind right away - all awesome choices!!!!!!

How many others are there close to the Sun's arena or Chase Field and what are the Critic's choices?

Has anyone tried Stoudemiers, and how's the Food and Atmosphere there?

Stoudemire's is cool and gets busy often, as well as Bar Smith, Sky Lounge, Bar Bianco, and Hanny's...the atmosphere is pretty relaxed at Stoudemire's until later at night when it becomes an all out nightclub; Hanny's is a great choice, very nice, fireplace, great seating, and not overpriced.

I'd stick with the sports bars if that's what you're looking for ... but there are others to choose from. The Hard Rock is definitely on my list for the food and the atmosphere. If I'm entertaining guests and happen to end up at a Suns or DBacks Game, a good after dinner type of place would be the Compass Room, which is the revolving restaurant on top of the Hyatt. I don't recommend eating there because the food isn't all that great. It's there mainly for the rotating view of the city.

Ive heard absolutely horrible things about Stoudemires. I heard it's a cool place to drink but the food is mediocre and overpriced. I've been in there and it looked nice but I never sat down at ate.

I personally like the Teepee Mexican cantina. It's not fancy and probably not thought of as a pre-game type of place but the food is really good and it's very low key and laid back. That was President Bush's favorite restaurant in Phoenix and he would make a special effort to stop and eat there.

Arizona Center, just a few blocks to the north of the stadiums, has some good eateries to choose from. There's 1130 The Restaurant, Sam's Café, Hooters, and My Big Fat Greek Restaurant. I had a chance to finally try out My Big Fat Greek Restaurant (at another location besides AZ Center), and the food was excellent, especially the lamb!

Went to the Tee Pee last night before the Suns game. Food was delicious, left one car there as we had only one parking pass, got back there easily after the game. From Chase Field, it's an easy walk down a main street. It's a little further to US Airways Center.

However, if you drive and park at Arizona Center, good luck with trying to get out of the garage. Every time it's busy around there, the garage fills to near capacity. There are multiple toll stations available, but only one or two of them are actually open, and you end up sitting there ... and sitting there ... and sitting there! What they should be doing is putting in automated attendants as an option where you can pay using a machine. That would be similar to what many grocery stores have to move things along faster.

Yeah, self check-outs!!!!!! I wonder how many people would try to beat the System though.

Avoiding the Garage hassles is simple - take the Bus or Light-rail!!!!!!
