Why would you waste that water? Let it evaporate down to level.

LOL, it is 10:29am...

There is still over 24 hrs before this storm is expected to die down; California is still getting soaked and the storm is SLOOOOOOWLY making its way east towards Arizona and Phoenix. It is still raining by all reports/accounts...is the sun out where you are, LOL!

Have you all seen pictures of Flagstaff? Crazy, you should look at the live cams on NAU's campus and the downtown cams...looks so pretty.

We had more rain overnight with puddles all over. I had to go to the store and saw a couple driveways washed out at the road. It is blowing like a son of a buck here...I see white caps in the puddles

Won't be long b4 the NWS starts backing off the forecasts. This is nothing new. Same old Phoenix - no rain.

Actually, yes, the sky does appear to be clearing out this way. It's not nearly as dark as it was earlier today. The wind is coming back a little bit though. Maybe we will have a dust storm! That would be more typical.

As for CA, yes, anywhere other than here would have ten inches in the bucket by now. Here we get a little drizzle, if we are lucky.

Where's the rain! I heard rain all night, but now that I'm sitting at work next to my huge 10 ft. window, I just see little sprinkles and no puddles. I was expecting floods and screaming people in canoes floating down rivers...

Well, maybe not THAT bad, but I'm a little disappointed if this is the BIG storm we were all warned about.

They hype storms all the time and they never have the power they predict. We shall they are saying it will hit big tonight so I'll wait and see.

Yeah, they will just keep pushing back the timing and when it never happens say nothing. Or point to a couple gauges that got more than dust and try to act like it went as they predicted.

If the filtration system is swamped so that the water level is over the top of the sximmers, it won't work. If the water is just going back in the ground and getting picked up by plants/trees, it's not a total waste.

I don't know what you guys are talking about but we've been getting a lot of rain where I'm at. 1.26" since midnight last night and 2.62" total since Monday. That is 32% of Phoenix's average annual rainfall.

If that is not a good storm...what is?
