I came up with a couple of thoughts (that means two ) which I'm still bouncing around with my "advisor". I'll have to run it by Alpha and ShepsMom to see if that is doable. Meantime, I'm also collecting links so I can post examples of what it means.

I thought long and hard about this theme and think that I can come up with one that really provides a very even playing field to all beginners and more advanced photographers alike. It is not camera specific (any camera would do), not season specific, not geography or structure specific (so no more excuses about your area having nothing interesting), no special lenses or high-end cameras or equipment required, no extra advantage for macro users, landscape users, portrait takers, telephotos, etc. etc.

BUT....

it takes a great big deal of IMAGINATION to execute, it may require a little bit of reading to understand it's style and how to take good shots to render the photo. Now because there are none of these restrictions, there may be a lot of entries. To stand out, one must think out of the box and be different from the rest!

Now, I believe everyone here has all the requirements. I think it would be a very challenging opportunity for everyone (and I mean everyone) on this go round. I'm looking forward to it and seeing everyone's talent and creativity in motion!

ON THAT NOTE, I AM EXTENDING A PERSONAL CHALLENGE TO YOU KATIE TO ENTER THE NEXT CONTEST!

Congrats, Bibit! Excellent job by you and everyone else. The description of your next subject sounds interesting! I look forward to the announcement, but understand it can take time to get everyone/everything together on that. For now, enjoy your victory!

I loved all the photos entered, but voted for the school busses lined up.

I don't know what it was, that shot stood out most to me.

Congradulations to everyone who entered. Thank you to shepsmom & Alpha.
