Fantastic shots! I used to live in Chicago (half a block from the lake) and we'd go up to the roof to watch them. You got great skies, which make the planes, especially the Blue Angels, pop.
Absolutely FABULOUS photos of the Air and Water Show! In all the years I lived there, I never made it to that show. Now I feel like I've been there -- minus all the noise, of course. I especially like how you established the location with that first photo from the lakeshore. Thanks so much for sharing these amazing shots of yours!

I often listen to Chicago Police scanner , over the weekend sometimes you could hear some of the planes in the background, I was wishing I was there.
