Like the pumpkin shot (#2), but a shallower depth of field may have worked even better, as well as moving the angle or waiting for the person in the background to move out of the way.
Actually i triggered the camera remotely with it sitting on the ground. never even saw the scene... just clicked and tried a few without looking.
i find it alot of fun..lovethe surprise shots sometimes.
thanks.... it was triggered remotely sight un-seen. flash was used to bring up the pumpkins so i can back the exposure down and darken the sky. that added a nice look.
everytime we stop there the photos are so different..the scenes are the same but each time the lighting is different and the things we try are different... this trip marilyn and i did a lot of flash work just illuminating everything differently then we did before... or we would plop the camera down on the floor and just click away hoping to get something different.. 5 out of the 7 used flash in some form
thats how i stopped blowing out the skies.
we never get bored and it always gives us a place to go near to us.
