Thanks Hankejp, it took me fifteen minutes to crawl close enough for the shots. First an eagle flew overhead, low, maybe thirty feet above the water. The nearby geese and ducks started squawking. I thought for sure they were going to leave before I got close enough for a shot. They went back to sleep, the near one waking up off and on every couple of minutes. Finally I took a few shots of them sleeping, then a couple of other geese got too close and woke them up. You should have heard the squawking! But a few minutes later they went back to sleep.
