It's probably the same as Photoshop neon filter, but I use Microsoft Picture It/Premium 10 & the filter is called Glowing Edges. I used the filter with a photo of a barn too, I think it was the Mosaic one. It's fun & something different to try.
It was a normal 28-135mm lens with a filter. The filter says it's a 'Cross 6x'.
I think I'm going to retry it with a little longer shutter speed. I'd like to pick up a little more detail in the tree. I might be able to dial the ISO down some a crisp up the picture a little too.
(It's not a "J. Stanley", but I'm trying to learn)
LOL I am new to photography too and trying to learn all the settings. Learning the settings has been quite a challenge.
Bugga Boo, that is a cool filter. I need to play around with the filters more often. I found some free actions/filters and so har have been dabbling with the vintage filters, but haven't used any others.
The pictures looks great. I really like the star filter effect and the neon edges (I think that's right.) I'll try to get some pics of my tree tomorrow after I burn my flash cards to cd.

The vintage filter sounds neat! I have another program that makes slideshows & there's a whole bunch of filters in there. One makes the photo look like an old movie clip, it jumps a little & has fine line going through it...it's a lot of fun.
Just a quick SOOC snapshot and I seem to have left my tripod somewhere...
