Great photos. I'm particularly fond of the KLM Fokker F-70 shots. I worked on its big brother, the F-100 for many years. With experience on Douglas, Boeing, Airbus, and Lockheed, Fokkers are still my favorite planes to work on.

Those are some nice shots!! I love the KLM jets the best. Even though Martinair is nice as well. Their new livery is really sharp!!!

If I may, let me add a couple of my KLM shots and a Fokker shot since you like Fokkers!

And a Fokker shot

Does anyone have any problems photographing at commercial airports? I'd love to get some landing and take off shots but am always cautious about bringing out a camera at an airport.

Well, it depends on where you are. Here in Europe it is absolutely no problem, you see hundreds of Planespotters around Frankfurt or Heathrow or Amsterdam Airport, many Airports have observation decks for people to take pictures and watch the aircrafts. In the United States it maybe a bit different - I have heard about photographers who only made good experiences, and others who have been interviewed by the cops for an hour after walking along the airport-fence with their camera.

But I think it should not be a problem if you just take a few shots and then go further, not hanging around the airport for several hours...

That is an excellent shot of the space shuttle. It's rare to see such a detailed view.

I'm looking at the escape hatch, and can easily see the nose thrusters in the black area.

I'm really wondering what those two large indentations are under the windscreens. They aren't uniform in size or shape. They almost look like damage, but something that severe would have been catastrophic.

Here is a different view. They look like some kind of port opened up while in space. http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/gallery/...016e032313.jpg
