I saw a lady bug on my daffodils yesterday and took some macro shots of it, but none came out clear when I zoomed in. Today, even after 3/4 of an inch of heavy rain over night, the lady bug was still on the daffodil and the first shot out of five came out the best.
I use a Canon eos Rebel T3 with an EFS 18-55 mm lens.

My camera has a macro mode. But it took me 25 shots to get one that was clear when zoomed in. I rarely take less than three shots of what ever subject I am shooting. Here is my close up of a tulips inside.
