Hello everyone! I'm an urban enthusiast with a penchant for urban streetscapes and would love to take shots of busy streetscapes. The problem is that I'm a COMPLETE n00b to photography.

Are there any cameras that are conducive to taking shots in really busy areas such as Times Square, Shibuya Crossing, Dundas Square, etc., without attracting too much attention?

Any input would be much appreciated?

Search for "street photography" on the Internet, and you will find plenty of ideas relating to cameras and the rest. For street photography the big and bright lenses attract a lot of attention, specially to muggers

in my opinion the fuji x100s is one of the best street photography cameras. it was designed for that one area of photography.

it has stealthy features , easy zone focusing, true silent mode, a look that looks nerdy and dated and a fixed lens that is ideal for street photography.
