Dang! And I can't even get snow in Alaska! It's almost Christmas and I have no snow!

Wow. Can you imagine how different neighborhoods will look when the mess is cleaned up? I heard on the news this morning that there are a million trees damaged in OK.

Yes, OkC and Tulsa were actually hit the hardest, many are still without power and the loss of trees is beyond belief. Everybody I've spoken to said that during the worst of it all you heard were pops and cracks everywhere you went because of all the branches breaking.

We had a similar ice storm five years ago - about a million people without power throughout the state. I remember the popping of the trees, and the blue flashes from the transformers blowing.
