So, with Christmas here - I attempted to get some good shots of my over-active daughter. These were taken with a Sony Handycam:

Deena attempting to play Rock Band.

I was having fun with taking pictures at different angles

Gamer at 18 months - I'm so proud

Her entire dress..

I will have to admit defeat - I got no good shots of her opening her gifts. Anybody have any luck?

((She's 18 months as of 4 days ago))

The only problem is that of those 4 nice shots, I had to wade through 100+ shots.. Not fun.

The shots of her I like are really good in my eyes. They're not professional - but many of them are extremely comical and cute.

I think the shots are great and capture her personality well. I have a little active munchkin and have a ton of shots of the back of his head. LOL

My camera has a setting for "action children." When I'm taking photos of frisky ducks and geese I'm torn between that setting and "sports." Which is more active to prevent movement blur - kids or athletes?

I don't know.

Smile Active Kids?

Those are some great pix & your daughter is a cutie!

I need that setting..."action children"...I use sport mode a lot! My slr captures more photos than digital. But you really do need to take a lot of photos when it comes to children just to get a few good shots.

When using my digital camera, I take a lot of these shots:

to get at least one of these:

I have to admit, this is one of my favorites. She was 5 days old in this picture..

And this one.. too precious for words.

It was a lot easier to photograph her then...

Oh that is amazing! And that is the shot you will have to use when one of them gets married and they have a photo slide show before the wedding...or to show to the girlfriends. But seriously, that is an awesome shot! I wish my son would sit that still for more than 3 seconds...if that!
