Your opinion on this lens???? (Canon, Sony, 50mm, lenses)

Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di Zoom Lens


I have a Canon Rebel xTi and I'm wanting a universal zoom lens. NOthing expensive. Compared to the Canon in the same range this one offers a 6 year warranty and some additional features.

Any suggestions, advice??

I have used Tamron lenses for probably more years than you are old for both professional and personal use; excellent value for the money. My "basic" lens is a Tamron 18-250mm. It does it all for my needs. Best to you.

I also use the newest Tamron 18-250 Di lens on my Sony Alpha/ Minolta mount camera body. Very pleased, and quite a bargain.
