Garden Of the Gods, looking Northwest from the historic Ute Trail (and connecting Niobrara Trail). I took this with my cell phone on a hike last weekend.
It's one of the most frequently photographed regions in Colorado, however it is rarely captured from this direction, as it is off road & must be hiked to. Most photographers prefer to capture the inner park's rock formations which are much more dramatic, looking South from a popular overlook on the North side of the park (accessible by road). But this is the spot that always calls me back & it was particularly dynamic looking that day, as it was very windy & the clouds were were being swirled around in the sky. I only adjusted the lighting in this picture, I did not edit it otherwise.
