Sidney, ( By the sea ) a beautiful community of about 12,000 people 16 miles north of Victoria. Lots of retired folks here.



The public fishing dock where I saw a Gray Whale and her calf feeding right under me...No camera that day, but I won't make that mistake again!

Tomorrow we will be celebrating my daughter, Dee's 19th birthday and I will be giving her the my camera. I'll pick up my new camera in the morning...

Here are some photos Dee took one day last winter with the last camera I gave her, a Fuji S5000. I think the girl has an eye for photography, but then I AM biased!
