A storm brewing over my house this evening. Other cells of this system dropped tennis ball-sized hail - fortunately, we didn't get any of that

Triumph, those were powerful-looking but mighty scary clouds. Glad you mised out on the hail!

E.G. your clouds are great too -- especially that last shot. The first shot is very interesting. I can't quite pinpoint what it reminds me of, but it's not clouds.

Great shots, EG. I was surprised we weren't under a tornado watch, at least. I was fully expecting something to drop out of some of those clouds.

Thanks! I think they are called Mammatus clouds. They are visible from side in Triumph's first shot (behind the two monsters) and I was directly under them.

Beautiful cloud photos EG! I love taking pics of clouds. Here in Florida the formations are so unique looking sometimes. Almost like looking at an artist painting! I photograph them alot here.

Great pics as always!
