LOL... when I went to the County Fair in 2008, they had two pigs racing named "McCain" and "Obama." I like to think they were racing for the good of our country!
But seriously, I do think they race for the promise of food... at least at our fair, they always run around a track and right into their trailer/pens (where a handler is probably waiting with treats).
