A fan blade from a wind turbine for a new wind farm they're building in town. It's 155' long. That means the diameter of the fan will be over a football field in length. And I'm told that's a small one. The large ones will be 250' in length, making it one of the largest wind turbines in the world. Shocking, really. I had no idea wind turbines were that big. That's my Jeep in the shot btw for scale.
It would have been very interesting to watch them put that together. Maybe a time-lapse.
