I'm having a hard time finding a place that allows ferrets. I'm at a place now that allows them but not too happy with the place. Thanks so much!

It's very hard to find housing if you have any pets in Pgh. Can you buy a place yet?

Look in Plum. My former gf's son and wife had a nice apt. there with 2 ferrets and large dog and cat cages in a very nice and cheap place. The ferrets would get under the kitchen sink plumbing and find their way to other apts. where the bears lived. Sorry that I can't specifically recall where that was.

I would think landlords that are OK with cats could probably be convinced to allow ferrets. Just clearly explain that they aren't any more likely to escape, damage anything, or make noise than a cat is. Also be clear that you are willing to be held liable for any damages caused by them.
