The latest kidnapping:

Man Arrested After Kidnapping Incident At Seven Springs « CBS Pittsburgh

Then there was just a sexual assult and tons of thefts of skis, snowboards and all kind of things. I don't remember ever hearing anything going on up that way. I know the Nuttings aren't very popular with... well anyone, but it sure seems odd.

I believe they eliminated the in-house security.

They have parking security. One of them is an idiot. I know they have security in the Goggle. Seems odd.

i am saddened at the prospect that there is always potential crime waiting to fill the void left by security. a totalitarian police state is what we need, apparently. at least you wont get your gear stolen.

heres the reason this is happening - because people are without ethics, morals, and a sense of instilled virtue. laugh if you want, but its not funny to me. its been a few years since ive been to seven springs, but i never would think of not finding my skis if i left them for 10 minutes to use the bathroom and warm up.

They had a really good police force but the Nuttings traded them for an infielder.

Yeah I think we skiers take that for granted. I've skied for years at Holiday Valley and Peek N'Peak with nary an issue. Everyone leaves their skis outside to go eat, use the facilities, and warm up.

Everyone at Seven Springs leaves their skis outside as well. Tons of them just laying all over the place all the time, so it is like any other ski resort. All it takes is one or two people to cause a big stir. I always leave my skis outside and go in for a wee dram, but I do have my skis in view and always have, just because I want to see them.
