Another vote for Iron Bridge. Admittedly this is 20 minutes outside of Sharon, but it's a favorite.

Are you just going to Sharon for the day? The other suggestions above are great. If you need any ideas on the Ohio side of the border, let me know.

1 day and then overnight. I'm semi-familiar with the
Boardman/Niles/Austintown areas. If you have any suggestions of things that aren't more than say, 15 minutes away from Sharon, that'd be great.

Really not that much happenin in Sharon.

If you end up at Iron Bridge or Rachels, can go to Volant Mills area, Volant, PA prior to. Relatively close.
More than 15 mins from Sharon though.

Really not much in that small radius.

I'm a big fan of eating at non-chain restaurants. My boyfriend and I always try to eat at locally owned family restaurants and this area is packed full of them. If you are willing to make the drive to Howland/Niles/Warren I'll list some of my favorites:

The Hot Dog Shoppe - Warren

The Mocha House - High St in Warren (gotta have some of their cheesecake!)

Restaurant, Italian Dining, Gourmet Dining, Banquet Facilities, Culinary Excellence, Suberb Hospitality, Warren, Ohio, Trumbull County, Howland OH, Leo, Leos Howland OH - E. Market/rt82 in Howland

Welcome To Enzo's - Elm Rd Warren

Welcome to Buena Vista Cafe - Home of Uncle Nick's Greek Fried Chicken - off of Elm Rd in Warren

Cafe 422 - rt 422 Niles/Warren

Alberini's Restaurant- Dining at its finest! - rt 422 in Niles

Eat at The V - rt 422 in Niles

Big City Chophouse Restaurant - Locations Canton, Warren Ohio. (http://www.bigcitychophouse.com/Big_City_Chophouse2.html - broken link) Howland on E. Market/Rt 82

Those are just some of my favorites, but it give you a lot of options across a variety of price ranges.
