Appreciate you guys answering my questions everytime I post; I dunno who or how else I'd find out this kind of information.

It's right near Nevile Ave and McCoy Rd... (near Kennedy First Alliance church)

I've never even stepped foot in this area.... how is it? It's a nice house for the price...Is it a bad area? My realtor said it's not a bad area, it's just not "growing"

Hows traffic from there to Downtown? (near Mellon arena)

Thanks so much! Much appriciation!

Hello, I live in Stowe Township and I can fill you in on the area. First of all, Stowe and McKees Rocks are made up of several different neighborhoods. The one you are looking in is quiet, and it's adjacent to suburban Kennedy Township, which is a nice area. Stowe as a whole is a declined area, but the different neighborhoods vary. There is poverty and blight, and section 8 housing to be found throughout Stowe, but as a whole it's liveable and, most of the time, quiet. There are occasionally incidents of violent crime in Stowe. Your neighborhood is pretty isolated from the problems of Stowe and McKees Rocks, though. The school district has a poor reputation.

Overall, I like living in Stowe and would recommend it as long as you are familiar and comfortable with some of the ills of urban living.

Is the Ohio View Acres project off of McCoy much of a problem nowadays?
