Hello to everyone,
I would like some help from native Pittsburghers, my family and I are moving to the area in 2-3 weeks (working in Blawnox). Where is a decent neighborhood to move to. We can afford 700-850 rent for starters, must be a 3 bdrm. Also, does anyone know any good realty companies that we get in touch with. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
On a side note, we visited the area last weekend and absolutely fell in love with city.
Thanks ahead of time.

For that price, and at 3BR, your options near Blawnox would be limited. Try Sharpsburg. It would be a short commute to Blawnox and, you didn't mention kids, but if you have them they would be in an excellent district (Fox Chapel). If you don't find anything there, check out Shaler. You can find stuff for your price, but you're gonna have to spend a little longer searching for good deals. I wouldn't look too far away from Blawnox because Rt.28 is a nightmare for commuting.

Call Fox Chapel Real Estate. You may live in Blawnox at that price. It will be tight, but I would try. It is a nice little town. Start there and then look at O'Hara and then Oakmont. Sharpsburg would be a last resort IMHO.
