UPMC's outcomes are in some cases less successful than AGH. Maybe go to Presby for a certain surgeon for a hand transplant, but for general care or even more moderately complex cases I don't think there is any significant benefit to a UPMC facility.

My general observational experience is that staff, including nurses, are friendlier at AGH, and as I mentioned, there is no trade off in terms of competence either, so I would guess it might be a better place to work as well.

I also have interviews at both Allegheny General and UPMC - Mercy. Have any of your guys worked in the Emergency Departments as an RN or know someone that has? Any feedback would be great. Thank you.
