I was only 5 minutes late thankfully. I decided to take Bigelow to the 10th street bypass which got me on the parkway relatively close to the tunnel. There supposedly was a big accident on 79 earlier which was cleaned up with just some slowdowns left over from that. Thanks to everyone for their input

Ooooh, I don't know if that's better than coming down Fifth. It might be, I just don't know. Thing is, I watch the 10th Street Bypass traffic every afternoon out my office window. It starts backing up past the Ft Duquesne Bridge ramps before 4:00. You have to do the merge on the bridge when you go that way. Thus, when a couple times in the last few months I've had to leave the city and go out that way, I took Stanwix over to the other side, so I could get on and stay in the left lane the whole way. That worked well for me, but it was only about 4:00 then too.

Anyway. Still took you hour and a half. I didn't think it would actually take that long, figured you would make it a little before 6:30. Wow.

I-79 is scary. Scary enough that I stayed in a hotel in Washington the night before taking the lolsat [LSAT] at W&J instead of braving the commute from Oakland.
