Looked at an apartment right next to the "T" in Beechview. Any reason to be concerned about noise? I live 4 blocks from railroad tracks and the trains don't bother me. I've also lived next to 4-lane highways with no issues. Not sure how loud the T is.

Shouldn't be a problem, the T is pretty quiet.....except for that damn bell the Operator rings at every station.

The T isn't too loud and it stops running for the night at 1:30 I believe.

Not a problem at all. The T is very quiet when it runs. Having an apt along the T route is a huge positive. Go for it.

I had an apartment in Shannon a dozen years ago or so, adjacent to the LRT tracks, and they did squeal as they made the bend out there.

Of course that was where the T bends from the Shannon station to the part parelleling Rte 88. and not a straightaway.

I once lived right next to the T. It's a noise you get used to and appreciate. Never bothered me once.

I think that if you've lived four blocks from train tracks, you'll find the T quieter.

I don't even notice the noise from the T anymore. The cars and trucks that go up the street are more annoying.

I lived in place that was but 20 feet or so away from the tracks. Noise was never a factor.
