How old is your kid? You can go down to the Millvale Riverfront Park to walk or ride bikes along the trail, and Venture Outdoors just opened up a kayak rental facility along the Millvale Riverfront Park, too, if you're into that.

For more of a traditional park, I would go over to Reserve Elementary School - they've got to have a slide/swings/etc over there. Another option where we take our son is to the Friday Street Park on Friday Street on the border of Millvale and Shaler. It's nearby and a real nice place. Once you learn the back roads up there you are also really close to Riverview Park.

Don't know the make up of your exact street, but that area is a good find in a good location.
Thank you so much. I appreciate all the information my son is 18 month old, and I stay at home with him. Our afternoons are usually park, stores, sightseeing. He's very active and I need to get him out of the house often because he gets easily bored

Our son is 14 months old, and at that age I think you'll have a ton of places to go. Being in Reserve you are also really close to some of our favorite places to take our little guy on the North Side - The National Aviary, The Children's Museum, and there are some fun, free water fall/mini pools along the Allegheny River near PNC Park where he loves to splash around in during the summer.

Have fun!
