Before you even comment - if you are anti-chain, that's fine, please don't bother letting us know.

One of the things I love about Pittsburgh is all the locally-owned and operated restaurants and stores. I'm not saying this needs to change. I'm just merely asking fellow posters what chains you would like to see in the area that aren't already here. This can be chain/franchise restaurants, stores, grocery stores, hotels, automobile dealerships...anything.

For example, I had Raising Cane's chicken fingers for the first time this week while out of town and wow... I'd love to see them open a store in Pittsburgh.

What else?

Certain hotel brands can be good marketing.

Something like a Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental, or Park Hyatt would be cool.

Something less ubiquitous than Panera at Bakery Square, like Atlanta Bread or Earl of Sandwich or Heidi's Brooklyn Deli or something.

We used to have;
Church's
Friendly's
Checkers
Kroger

Eat n' Park used to be our Big Boy franchise. Later, Elby's was our local Big Boy restaurant.

Didn't CompUSA go bankrupt?
