Is Sunday a good day to go to the strip? I found a list of some places that are open but alot of them were places to dine? What is the best place to park?

I usually go to the Strip every Sunday. The only downside is that most stores open later and close even earlier than the rest of the week. I think Penn Mac is only open 9-2 on Sundays. All the main stores are open on Sunday.

On Sundays the meters aren't enforced, so you can pretty much park anywhere. However, it's usually packed right in front of all the big stores. I come in from the west on Liberty and usually turn down 25th street, then turn onto Penn Ave, and udually find a spot around there.

Saturday is better but more crowded. Penn Mac, Wholey's and Asain Market are all open. Few place like Presto George are closed but there is enough open to make it worth your while. If you go past 16th St bridge there is usally some street parking and right by Heinz Museum there is a spacious lot for $5 if you don't mind walking a few blocks.

Sunday is fine, but be sure wrap it up before 2pm, ideally before noon.

If you're going to the Strip I'd like to recommend Salem's on 29th and Penn, for which you will have noooooo trouble finding parking. SALEMS MARKET AND GRILL It's Middle Eastern food (I don't know what kind) and some of it resembles Indian food. I really dig their fries, which are more golden and crunchier compared to a place like McDonalds. And you get a lot for $1.50! After that, you can check out Klavon's, an old style ice cream place on 28th and Penn. klavons
