There is a fundamental problem with discussing moderation and that problem is that regular members only see a small portion of what is going on around the forum. At the same time mods can't discuss many things openly, like the infractions they issue, to who and why etc.
All this, and the tendency to assume we all have result in, let's say confusion. There is little that can be done about it short of full disclosure (not going to happen) or members fully trusting the mod (again, not real).
Having said all that, a new mod for the Pittsburgh might not be a bad idea.
Since discussing moderation in public is specifically addressed in the tos as something prohibited, I'm closing this thread. I'm open for discussion in private if someone wants to continue.
Yac.
