I'm moving to Mt. Pleasant, PA in 2014. Any suggestions on nice safe places to rent?

All of Mt. Pleasant should be safe since you'll be so far away from any major city. Mt. Pleasant is pretty big though, so some areas may be much more rural or far away from amenities than other areas.

There's nothing "bad" or "unsafe" anywhere around there. Check out the area before moving there though, its very rural. 10 minutes from Mt. Pleasant will take you into the mountains.

Part of Mt. Pleasant Township is actually in the mountains but most apartments labeled Mt. Pleasant will be referring to the borough.

Very true. I assumed they meant the town.
