And people wonder why the Steelers are so enamored here in Pittsburgh. Any city would be with a history like that.

Exactly. I still don't get this dislike of it. Must be the transplants from Baltimore/DC and the Cleveland lovers.

Thanks, but I know their history and long before what you have listed. Nobody said that over the course of their history that they haven't had great/good teams. One of the most successful franchises ever, in all of sports.

However, the past 2 seasons, they are not a good football team. They are average right now, at best.

Must just be the facts that the last 2 seasons they're 8-8. Not sure where you get that there's a dislike. I, for one, have been a Steelers fan ever since I was able to watch a game 40+ years ago. However, if you actually watch each game, and watch other teams play, and you look past the false hope and "homerism", you would know that right now, they're average at best.

Bad teams are not just going to roll over and let you beat them so you can make the play off. especially after having a bad season, that would be one of their highlights of the year to keep a team from making the playoffs. some put up a pretty good fight and some pull it off. All the pressure is on the team trying to get in and the team that's not going anywhere just play loose and relax and having fun trying to keep the other team out.

Steelers fire offensive line coach after one season. IMO, too early to judge a guy after one year. After consecutive 8-8 seasons, however, it seems its easiest to get rid of the new guy.

After 8 years? Wow.

Chiefs are going nowhere. Won't be surprised to see them lose again to the Colts.
Great day of football.

At least one more week of sleeplessness for Goodell. Saints will get no calls against the Seahawks.

49ers still a crap shoot.

Chiefs went nowhere.

While I see nobody beating the Seahawks it would be great to see the Saints win it all.
