This is not Pittsburgh, but here is a view of an incomplete 90,000 sq ft house near Windermere, FL, and the documentary about the people who are building it (or are trying to).

^ I enjoyed watching The Queen of Versailles. Their personalities are entertaining if not sad. Can't believe the way they lived pre- financial difficulties.

Not as big of a home by a long shot, but the google street view goes directly up Theresa Heinz driveway right to the front door. You can't see the whole house. If you look via satellite view, there are wings that go back under the trees. No information is available on the Allegheny County page concerning square footage. No diagram of footprint either.

That's the first one to come to my mind too. 151 Justabout rd McMurray.I drive past it occasionally just to stare. The current owner is a regular at the restaurant I used to work at. Mr Miller I think was his name. He invented something related to the microchip is what I think I heard but it was a while ago. I can't even begin to imagine what keeping that place clean and heated must cost.

North Hills entrepreneur builds 18-bedroom home in Bell Acres - Pittsburgh Business Times

I believe this is the zillow listing: 137 Beech Ridge Dr, Sewickley, PA 15143 - Zillow

The county has it listed at 33,444 finished square feet with 12 bedrooms and 21 bathrooms, 22 fireplaces, stone exterior and slate roof.

The only pictures I could find are from a competing site, but here is a youtube video

That's the one that came to mind for me, although I wasn't sure it was actually larger than some already posted. I just remember it being a story a few years ago.

That was the first home I posted. Sorry, I didn't put the address. I don't think there is a larger home than that thing. Goodness!
