A friend of mine is close to finishing building his. I am starting to think he should probably put skis on it...

Hopefully we will have more than 20 days of abundant sunshine (under 30% clouds) this year than we did last year. In 2012 it was about 50 days, but that spring and summer were pretty nice.

To me it feels like we have already had at least 20 days of sunshine in 2014!

What happened to your 6 month plan to move? I am soooo glad I get to live somewhere I enjoy and has been profitable in many ways. But I will admit this is my antsy time of year. I got organic seeds ready to plant. Last years garden success has resulted in me doubling the size of my garden. I will be starting seeds indoors in the next few weeks though. Daffodils are sprouting but the low lying parts of my yard are mush from nearly 4 months of snow cover. I want to start cleaning up the yard without ending up cover in mud from head to toe. Did schedule the pool opening ...two more months!

To be fair . . . with this rain, if the cold came just a few hours earlier we'd all be screwed right now. The prediction wasn't really that far off.

Yeah we have about 5-6 inches already in Erie right now and it is a little slushy, but there is alot of moisture with this current storm.
