Kind of like Seattle and Portland, eh?

Good luck, PghDude! I hope that your move goes well and that you are happy in your new location. (I mean that sincerely - I lived in a region that I really disliked while others were thrilled with.)

I'd love to know as well where one of our favorite trolls is moving to! Let's hope he enjoys his new city so much he doesn't post here and that he doesn't feel the need to consistently complain about here to his new friends. That would get old after awhile.

Thank you for the wishes. I will be moving south to a city that continues to grow. It is one of the top magnets for young professionals. The state it is located in has been growing for some time. Why bother disclosing the precise place? So all the Debbie Downers can tell me that there is too much sprawl? Or it's too hot, too flat, too sunny, and too close to tornado alley? It lacks character? I did a behind the scenes research of a select number of cities. PM'd several CD members of those select cities and received a pretty balanced view. I'll be moving sometime in May.

Seconded, although pghdude28 calling others on here 'Debbie Downers' was richly amusing.

Have fun in Atlanta/??? pghdude ... whatever happens it will be an enriching experience for you. And that's what life's all about (apart from the surviving bit, but that goes without saying)

That'd be ironic if it was Atlanta, considering Georgia had negative net migration between 2012 and 2013.

I note with interest his complaint about Debbie Downers. I hope he finds what he is looking for.
