Looking for a roofer in the Elizabeth area.
Been down all the normal avenues & have called several places.

It is a simple simple roof--house is so small, 625 sq ft--you can consider it more of a cottage.
gable roof, 1 small shed dormer--aprox 7 squares. No steep slopes or anything complicated at all.
It really doesn't get more basic.
I cannot DIY due to health issues.

So far, out of several places I have called for estimates, only 1 has shown up.
I wasn't keen on the original estimate I was given verbally, in person...
But I was getting worn down & tired of running around for people who never show up.
He jumped his price $500 & acts like he doesn't remember the ORIGINAL price...
I've been having issues getting estimates for weeks now.

I'm trying to keep things local, so Elizabeth/West Elizabeth/White Oak/McKeesport/North Versailles area
Would prefer a smaller company, as the bigger general contracting companies pricing is insane.

Try Likar Roofing (Home) in North Versailles; we've used them many times on our house in Squirrel Hill and were referred to them by a minister friend who used them to re-do the church roof.

I used J&J Construction to repair storm damage alast month. They are based out of Pleasant Hills though (I don't think they have a website, but here is their page on Home Advisor: J&J Construction Home Improvement | Pittsburgh, PA 15336 - HomeAdvisor

Very happy with their work. They were the only people out of five that I contacted to show up and look at the damage. Two days later everything was fixed. The pricing was fair and it was really easy working with the office manager as far as scheduling and payment. Most my communication with them was via email, which I like because I can't always take phone calls during the day.
