That's good for you, now please find out about everyone else darn it!

Reading your status line: I wish that I could afford the Bay area, I'd move there in almost a heartbeat.

I could no longer afford it, that's why I moved to Pittsburgh. I'm quite happy here. The summer weather and the liquor laws are my only real peeves. That, and the scarcity of good Mexican and Asian (all cuisines) restaurants as compared to the Bay Area. I can't change the weather, it's unlikely the liquor laws will change, but Pittsburgh seems to be going in the right direction when it comes to its food scene.

I bought a lovely huge old house for well under $200k here. The same home in the Bay Area would cost anywhere from $1.5 - $3 million depending on the location.

I know i'm in the minority on this.

im still used to PGH summer weather. im literally dieing here in VA. this humidity is killing me. Even my car is showing the pollen, something I didn't see last summer in Pittsburgh.

Whoever wrote this article must have been poling people on the parkway during the afternoon rush....

I have to admit I was surprised to see that Pittsburgh made that list. As far as I can tell most people around here seem pretty content.

My mood has improved significantly since putting erieguy back on my ignore list :-)

I highly recommend it. Works better than getting drunk at a country concert!
