Anyone else stuck in or were stuck in this? I usually breeze on down 65 and home at this time of night, but it looked like everyone was seriously just getting out of work. I know there was a diversion of traffic earlier because of that tractor trailer incident on 79, but one lane is open now, that shouldn't have been the cause

Liberty Tubes were slow going as well at 6:30, not sure if it was a random appearance of the dreaded Tunnel Monster or something more tangible.

I think it was just backlog from the masses they forced down 279 to the bridges, that are already a CF with the regular rush hour load.

That's like yesterday on the Parkway West. Oh my goodness. Apparently the Alice Cooper/Motley Crue concert was last night. The outbound Parkway West was seriously
jammed starting at Carnegie clear until 730 and beyond. I took 60 to the airport and it took me an hour. We crawled from 79 to where I eventually cut out at Beaver Grade.

I think it was residual still from the 79 closure. At 5:15ish, the line heading south on 279 was 3 lanes jammed solid well before McKnight Road.

I figured, but couldn't understand why they would still be sending people down when they had opened one lane on 79.

Yeah I work on Campbells Run Road and a series of concerts over the past few weeks have tied things up outbound, starting with Wiz Khaliffa

What's really tied things up is the complete closure of Old Steubenville Pike in conjunction with lane closures on 22/30. It really limits options for anyone traveling west of Robinson and causes mass gridlock when there is a concert in Burgettstown.

28 inbound was packed all the way from before the 40th St Bridge. It took my 5 times longer than normal to get to the 31st Street Bridge. Guess it was just a busy night in the city. Had a nice meal at Redfin outside. What great weather!

A friend of mine said it was clear back to just after the Highland Park Bridge as the evening progressed. SUCKS!
