Pretty interesting stuff, makes me want to get further away from Rt 65. Another reason for it's "Killer" nick-name:

WOW! This is a great resource. It might even affect one's decision to buy a home in certain areas.

Thank you, norcider!

Ugh - its a mess of NO2. All those people in their SUVs from the 'burbs coming down here for Pens games and whatnot.

Somebody's gotta fill the seats. Have you seen the empty seats at Bucs games? Pollution is from fireworks nights.

This explains why it hurts to breathe when I'm running across the 31st Street Bridge. UGH!

I have seriously considered using one of those cheap paper/cloth masks for bicycling. I wonder if, after a few hours, it would be dusty/ashy.

I see many Asian-Americans in/around CMU and the East End wearing them on warmer days. Maybe that's not such a bad idea. The next warmer day I go running I might wear one of those masks. At the very least the suburbanites coming into town in their SUVs across the bridge might see me and rethink how much CO2 their GMC Yukon Denalis and Cadillac Escalades are pumping into the city's air and think about buying a Prius instead.

You really go out of your way to stoke the fires of the city vs. suburb argument. Last week you were justifying your carbon footprint by saying that all of your deliveries help keep the SUV drivers of Point Breeze parked at home instead of running out to dinner.
