Here's an early rendering of the Park 7's new apt. for North Oakland this is looking East on Centre near the intersection of Bigelow. This will help anchor the western portion of the Centre/Baum corridor. Notice the CVS to the right in the rendering. There should have been an 8-10 story apartment on top. There is a need for it ad it would have added to the density that they are seeking for this corridor. As for Park 7's early renderings, I like it a lot.http://hpaurban.com/wp-content/uploa...wdvisfm4n4.jpg

That's a great building and a nice addition to the neighborhood.

I think Moby meant the former and was mocking my double post. Maybe.

I see the same apartment building in both. And no CVS. Which side is Centre and which is Bigelow? BTW, you probably have enough time to delete one of them.

The CVS is to the right just beyond the new building and much smaller. Bigelow is not in the picture, but the image could have be from the perspective approx. at Centre and Biglelow looking east towards Shadyside. There is a parking lot there now and four or five houses on Centre. Click on the rendering and zoom in for a bigger view.

It looks as if CVS at N. Craig and Centre is to the left of the new building, not the right, such that your building takes up the entire block on the south side of Centre from N. Craig to N. Dithridge.

Ok. It is a matter of perspective. It is on the right hand side of Centre looking east. The view in the rendering is looking southeast, so you are correct, it is to the left. But there is no street cutting Southeast, just North, South, East, and West. So looking IF we were to the right a few yards and be looking east down Centre, it is to the right/south. Basically the CVS and Park 7 are on the southern side of Centre or the right hand side looking east. Looking south or southeast, CVS is indeed on the left.

It's not bad, I guess. I think some balconies would be nice. Make the building look friendlier.

This is a great addition to the Baum/Centre corridor. I'm glad it's so tall - will add to the vista coming down the hill from Schenley High School. And all those new residents will be good for the business district.
