Hi, are there any motels in Pittsburgh, or Allegheny County, or even Westmoreland County that are cheap? Price range anywhere from 20-40 bucks a night? I don't care where it is, I just need to get a cheap motel or hotel between those price ranges. If you know of any places please let me know. Thank you.

Avalon Motel on Ohio River Blvd is pretty inexpensive, ditto for the Pittsburgh Motel on Steubenville Pike.

I think Gene's in Jefferson Borough is closed, but the other one off of Streets Run is still open.

East exit in Monroeville, Monroeville crossed from Denney's, there are a few places on rt 30 also.

If it is for medical reasons or because someone is in the hospital there is a place that advertises at the Faulk clinic the rooms are $40 a night.

It might be worth the $45 to stay at the Motel 6 in Crafton if you want inexpensive lodging. You may qualify for a discount too so it could be just a smudge above $40.

Not to attempt to derail things - but the title made me think of the Pittsburgh Hostel Project. I tried to check out their website, but its no longer up - and their Facebook hasn't been updated. Anybody know what happened to them?

Thanks,

Thanks Everyone! I know the East Exit Motel is $60 a night, and with that rate I might as well just stay at a hotel. I will check out the other options, thank you. Also if anybody wants to chime in that would be great! I need some options haha. I am not trying to be a cheap skate, but I just don't want to spend 50+ on a hotel or motel, I just want to getaway, for a couple of days, without hurting my wallet in the process. Thanks again!
