So were you for an end to this "depravity", or do you just want to keep babbling?

I enjoy the services that the city of Pittsburgh provides to me, and I believe that I should pay the people who make my life easier fairly.

Good.

But the same can't be said for local, state and federal government workers who are supported by my taxes.

So how many people here complaining about the city employee wages actually live in the city of Pittsburgh? Just curious because I am of the opinion that if you do not, you really have no right to complain.

The city government is under supervision of the state as a financially distressed municipality, they voluntarily agreed to be observed and critiqued by the people of the whole state.

One of my first thoughts when the proposal to pass out more $$$ was first posted.

No, I don't live in the City and I don't care what they get paid. My point is simply if you don't prepare yourself in high school, college, or trade school to earn a good living, it's your own fault. Menial jobs that require little expertise can be filled by anyone, so hence the low pay.
