Hi Everyone,

I just made this profile because I'm moving to Pittsburgh, and there are a lot of things that I will need advice with. I was hoping that I could get some help with that here.

I'm moving to Pittsburgh from Europe, and I'm used to waxing regularly. This is something that I do every month, so whenever I travel, it's a bit of a concern for me. I've been looking at the prices in the beauty salons in Pittsburgh that I could find online, and they seem a little high to me. Since I would prefer to continue waxing regularly, and paying that price every month would not be sustainable, I was wondering if someone on the forum could recommend an affordable Beauty Salon or spa or something... where they do waxing in Pittsburgh.

On Forbes in Squirrel Hill there is something called the European Wax Center. I thought it was a crappy type of filled chocolate candy, but maybe it does hair removal.

I'm not uber knowledgeable about this field, but I have passed by the mentioned European Wax Center many times and they seem legit. If this isn't in your range then I'm afraid options might be limited unless someone else more in the know than I comes along.

Welcome to Pittsburgh, though! Where from in Europe might I ask?

I have been told I will do anything for a dollar. My wife on the other hand goes to shear talent in Bethel park or TNT nails in bridgeville, they have a full service wax center also.

I recommend Judit European Day Spa. It is owned an operated by Hungarian women who know what they are doing.
