Hi everyone,

It may be of great surprise to many, given my reputation as one of the very few open Republicans/conservatives on our subforum, but I'm seeking advice on where to buy frozen churros in Pittsburgh? I'm quite enjoying learning more about Mexican culture and cuisine after a nice trip there in November.

At the beginning of the month, Aldi sold frozen churro bite-sized sticks. They were amazing!
Unfortunately, it was a seasonal sale - and they're no longer carried in my Aldi. Nor did I see any today at the Giant Eagle in Shaler.

Does anyone know where I may be able to buy some? Does Casa Reyna in the Strip have them perhaps?

Thanks to anyone who may be able to point me in the right direction!!

CostCo usually has frozen churros, as well as the fresh ones in the food court.

I don't think the number of conservatives on here is all that small, and last I checked going on vacation is a bipartisan thing, so I for one am not feeling any great surprise.

We need a conservative subforum, we can hold meetings at old mexico in washington pa or the taco stand on brookline blvd. If you find the frozen churros let me know, they sound good.

Go to Trader Joes. Aldi and Trader Joes have some of the same stuff and Trader Joes has what you are looking for.

You want the REAL thing as far as Mexican culture & cuisine:
Owned by Mexican's, Mexican staff, it's the real deal & it's awesome--
go to Las Palmas IGA supermarket 1616 Broadway Ave in Beechview-
The ENTIRE grocery store is full of authentic Mexican food & spices. Don't bother with frozen stuff from big box stores-
This place is close enough where you can buy the FRESH real thing & freeze it yourself.
I just found out about this place last weekend & am going to start to a thread about it.
Love this place!

I've been quite busy, was in Canada for several days, but finally had the opportunity to head up to the Trader Joe's in McCandless. It took me a few minutes of looking, but I did find them!

Thank you!
